Today I am going to make some chili for the family.
Chopping onion, celery and red pepper enjoying the glorious sun rise...thinking about my dear Mother and Grandmother when they lovingly prepared meals for the family...day after day...caring for and meeting the needs of their dear children. How blessed is a Mother that fears the Lord and raises her children to LOVE Jesus with all their heart, soul and mind.
...browning lean moose meat from October kill...brought in from the great skilled hunters...tho'd in a bottle of beer as Rachel Ray from 30 minute meals suggests, added some seasonings, cracked pepper...added then a can of kernel corn liquid drained off, kidney beans liquid drained off, chili beans, diced tomatoes with green chilies, and large can of diced tomatoes (tuh-may-turrrrz)...a spoon of ketchup/catsup...a spoon of sugar...mixed all that up and tho'd that bad boy in the crock pot.
...how could I forget...a splash of Cholula imported from Mexico (Cholula in Colorado for flavoring food dishes including chili, equates to crack cocaine for designer drug users in Hollywood :-).), some Cayenne Red Pepper for a kick in the chili seat o' the pants. Later I'll top the chili with Cilantro chopped, a dollop of fresh cold stirred sour cream and shredded sharp cheese (Extra sharp Cracker Barrel is nice) and Keebler Buttery Club crackers....serve with ice cold COORS beer...or if you have any Budweiser beer from the lovely Cindy McCain family...that would grace the table for a complete chili experience this fine day lavished on us compliments of a HOLY GOD.
Next we clean up…clean up. This includes RECYCLING…I know don’t start whining like the DemocRATs. Have a cheerful disposition as the bible commands every Christian. Don’t be a Negative Nellie like Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid aka Oscar the Grandpa Grumpy Pants Grouch.
This is something you won’t see or hear on the food network. I am a creationist not a militant left wing nut ball environmentalist that is always ignoring God-they don’t deny GOD as much as they ignore HIM and that is where the word ‘ignorance” originated…ignoring GOD, eschatological truth 101. They (and they know who they are) keep trying unsuccessfully to take God out of the math equation and languish in absolute misery all day long…see Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, a shining example of misery.
I am a creationist and a steward of God’s green earth. Atheists and Agnostics to their credit do RECYCLE and Christians would do well to humble themselves and learn from their efforts just please show some respect and learn the goodness of being a steward of this wonderful earth we have been blessed with. It’s difficult to learn from an Atheist or Agnostic because they work hard and are usually very ANGRY with an upper case “A” so approaching them is like dealing with a box of dynamite.

Environmentalist are pissed off because they work hard and don’t understand theology and the TOTAL TRUTH math formula and biblical worldview teachings of the accomplished Nancy Pearcey who authored the book. She lays it out explaining CREATION, FALL and REDEMPTION. Christians I implore you…come alongside a tree hugging leftist militant environmentalist recycler and learn from them and help them with their ANGER issues. Fallen man has them praying for the sweet release that death will bring. They don’t like Christians because many Christians embrace “we’re going to hell in a hand basket Darwinism so tho’ the trash out the window because we are all going to burn in hell prior to the rapture.” I am not a fatalist…that appears to give license to trashin up the joint. Don’t be slothful. Do the right thing, RECYCLE, because it’s the right thing to do.

Back to the Chili clean up…Take the cans (diced tomatoes, diced tomatoes with green chilies, chili beans, kidney beans and corn) and rinse them out. Peel the label off and tho’ em in the Recycle Container. Today I used the rest of a plastic jar of ketchup so I rinsed that out as well and put that in the Recycle container. I also used the rest of my Red Cayenne Pepper seasoning so I will rinse that (glass) and tho that in the Recycle Container. Most cities will take tin, aluminum, steel, #1 and #2 plastics, corrugated, junk mail, newspaper, office paper and glass. and if you know a scrapper they will be happy to take your recyclables and scrap them making a few pennies here and there. Does your trash can wreak, does it have the stank on it?…perhaps so doth the soul. Recycle with reckless abandon.

Just sampled my crock pot o' chili-mmmmmm mmmmmmm good. It's coming along nicely.
Whilst the chili is simmering me thinks I'll do up the sink full of dishes and tho' a load of laundry or two in the wash. I loved the sound of Mom with her Mom (my Grandmother Selma) in the kitchen washing up a sink full of dishes, sharing stories-loving each others company and laughing, laughing...the sweet laughter, the joy of those two gals sharing time with each other doing the sacred mundane task of dishes, cleaning house or folding laundry...what blessed gift is a Mother that fears the Lord. http://www.mychurch.org/blog/25911/Happy-Mothers-Day
